Although you may be familiar with my choice of footwear to be sneakers, this post will surprise you as it will go into more detail about this incredible Ted Baker sale haul! Make sure you watch the video above first before reading below as it goes into further detail and review of the products and Style Democracy.
Brans Geometric Socks
I love quality dress socks, but I am always looking for a good deal. If I am being frank, I would have never thought I would come across Ted Baker socks for such a low price, especially since it is still available on their website for the full price. I love the feel of the socks, they are comfortable and I love the geometric pattern.

Rastar Logo Striped Slides
The next item unboxed were these pretty interesting slides. I love the stitching and the clear branding, but I really liked the design on the outsole. I have been wearing these slides around the house for quite a while now and I am not pleased with the comfort. It is a little stiff and although I went true to size, I had to adjust my feet to properly fit within the covering as you would have seen in the video with the on feet look. I would still say that these are a great pick up for brand name slides but for the price I got them for. I see that The Bay currently has these slides on sale for $63, but I wouldn’t have bought for that price.

Warkrr Leather Chelsea Boot
From an aesthetic perspective I really love how these look and felt these are perfect for the fall. I have been wearing these for a couple days now if I had to step out to run errands and these are pleasantly surprising. I am not a big fan of chelsea boots but this does it in terms of decent comfort and great design. My favourite part is the beautiful navy side panel and the subtle Ted Baker branding. Sizing does feel a bit weird on this as you would see with the on feet look in the video, however when you are walking in them it feels normal. If you prefer these style boots more snug then maybe you can try to get a .5 size down if possible. Most sizes for this specific boot are sold out, however I saw a similar style for $280 on Ted Baker’s site.

Dylunn Classic Leather Brogues
The last item I unboxed were these fantastic dress shoes that I would probably wear for occasions that require dress shoes because these are great for various reasons. Firstly, I like that even with the classic black leather look the design remains sleek with the brogue detailing on the upper. There is also a fun burgundy/maroon sole that aligns with the subtle contrast stitching. The wooden midsole is also provides a distinguish look. However, what surprised me was the insole and lining as the red is so striking but has great padding which definitely lacks in most dress shoes. Swipe through the pictures below to see for yourself!

Place of Purchase, Experience
So as stated in the video, the reason why I was able to get these incredible deals was because this was exclusive to Style Democracy. They are a Canadian shopping website that either hosts or shares incredible sales, pop-up events, and more. I am familiar with their warehouse sales that they have done from October’s Very Own to Frank & Oak to Adidas & Sandro, they have a large variety of sales they host. However, due to COVID-19 they were not able to continue with their famous in person shopping (as of now they do have certain offline sales). They instead introduced an online platform to launch sales including a Lacoste sale. They did this Ted Baker sale online (they have a second one next week in person) and it was interesting. My sister and I ordered separately in the beginning of August, but on the same day. She actually got her order before mine, and I was just getting a generic email saying they are working on my order. Come September I still didn’t get my order so I reached out and did get a proper response. After a week I finally got my order. Although it was unfortunate that I only got my order after I emailed them I do understand that this is something fairly new to them and for the great prices and top notch quality of items available, it is definitely worth it.
Let me know what you think of my pick ups, are these great deals? Are they not? What’s your thoughts on Style Democracy and Ted Baker?
