In my brief Montreal trip, I made sure to check out some new food spots and write up some reviews. Although, I only got to check out a few places I would say that this is my favourite restaurant out of all.
We checked this place out as it was conveniently located near Saint-Catherine’s Street where my dad wanted to visit for the first time in 30 years! So read below to see the review of this restaurant if you’re ever in the area.
Location: 1251 McGill College Avenue, Montreal, QC

Taste

I can honestly say that Enoteca Monza ensures there provided a satisfying taste with everything I ate from the complimentary bread to the main dishes. For instance, I loved how the vegetables on the primavera wood fire pizza was well cooked, especially the artichokes. An artichoke is a make or break for your tasting pleasures depending on if it is cooked properly.
My personal favourite in terms of taste was the Tagliatelle Alfredo as it was creamy and had a lot of flavour.
I can’t speak on the Penne Alla Norma because I did not try it due to the fact it had white wine, my family did and they said they enjoyed it.
Price

The price was more on the higher end. It was not extremely marked up but still more on the higher end. I would say that the price did fair well with the quality. Take a look at the menu and you can be the judge.
Service

The service was greatly, as they were friendly staff and helpful to requests and inquiries. The venue was very large and it was very busy so the staff did a good job in balancing among all the tables.
Venue

The venue was pretty big as it featured an outside patio, two floors for dining and a bar. It was well kept and the reason for why I even took a picture of the washroom was to show that the restaurant ensures their modern style is maintained in all areas.
Would I go Again?

Maybe. I do highly recommend others to try the food from here. The reason for why I’m uncertain if I would visit again is if they add more vegetarian options.
Recommendations
With the exception of adding more vegetarian items to the menu I don’t have any recommendations. Enoteca is doing a great job as is.
As always, let me know if you are going to try or have tried this restaurant in the comments below!
