If you’ve been following the blog you know that I am slowly posting from my Singapore and Malaysia trip and wanted to continue doing so by talking about the amazing food I had at this cool food court in Singapore! I will recap and review everything I ate there along with some recommendations and tips if you plan on going and more information. Before you scroll below, follow me on TikTokInstagram, and Facebook as I will be posting more food and Singapore content!

About and Location

The 313@Somerset is a really cool mall that is located at 313 Orchard Rd, Singapore which you will easily notice when walking on the iconic Orchard road or highly accessible via public transit. It’s something I noticed when shopping in Singapore and noticing some of the K-pop ads. It’s also approximately a 20-minute drive to the Supertree Grove. What makes this shopping mall stand out is that they have an eco-friendly design consisting of an Urban Green Room that helps the mall reduce its carbon footprint. What also makes this mall stand out is the plethora of food options in their food court and trust me, it was a lot. I only tried from three different spots and as I checked the directory recently I am a little disappointed I wasn’t able to try the Tim Hortons there. Nonetheless, I am happy with what I tried so check it out below!

EATPIZZA

This is the spot that I first wanted to try because I heard about their viral pizzas which originated from Korea. The grab-and-go pizzas are about 25cm and ready in just 5 minutes. You will see in the video that they make everything by hand and it is served fresh. In addition to pizza, they had gochujang mac & cheese ($6.90) which I also tried. I got the three-cheese pizza (several options to choose from but this was the 313 special) for $6.90 and I really liked the texture and amount of cheesiness of the pizza as it reminded me of garlic bread with more flavour. It kind of threw me off that there was a bit of sweet aftertaste. I think I enjoyed the gochujang mac and cheese a bit more just because of the toasted cheesy top and the kick of spice you get with each bite. Overall both were great and definitely worth the try.

Kooks Creamery

The next viral food spot I checked out was Kooks Creamery and I actually did post about this last year when I did a social media post for National Ice Cream Day. The reason why this place went viral is because of their molten lava cookies as the cookie oozes with warm fillings, and I got the matcha. But it’s not just simply a cookie, there is an artisanal, premium ice cream on top that completes the dessert experience. We went with their Blue Chai Hokkaido because it was a unique and exclusive flavour of theirs. I absolutely love how these cookies tasted and you can eat them there or have them packed up (which we did). The matcha flavor was not too sweet and complimented the warm cookie that wasn’t too soft. The blue chai Hokkaido also had a very rich taste to it that didn’t overpower the overall dessert experience and it was at a reasonable price of $8.50.

Ichikokudo Hokkaido Ramen

This spot wasn’t viral but definitely looked aesthetically appealing. I wish I had the time to sit down and eat here but unfortunately, I had to head back. Nonetheless, I found the staff nice and efficient. I was feeling a little under the weather so I was craving some ramen. I was intrigued when I saw they offer plant-based chicken ramen and it looked really intriguing. Since I got it to go it doesn’t look as aesthetically appealing but trust me it tasted good. The plant-based protein was minced, but something to note is that it might have eggs in it. The broth was comforting and it went well with the other ingredients (edamame, red cabbage, watercress, enoki mushroom, aosa seaweed, and shredded leak). I felt a nice umami flavour with this ramen but next time I would definitely recommend dining in. This pricing was also not terrible since it was $13.40.

Overall

My only regret is not coming here sooner and being able to try more food here but hopefully, if I am able to visit Singapore again I would spend a full day at 313@somerset! I would recommend all these items for you to try and doubt you would be disappointed. Personally, my favourite of all these items would be the gochujang mac and cheese but all of them were great.
