The Fit Break Down – The Shard

The Shard

This incredible view is called The View from The Shard, or simply known as “The Shard”. It is located on 32 London Bridge St, London, United Kingdom.

You can learn more about booking and more here, but some advice it to download and purchase the London Pass and London Explorer Pass to get the best experience and to avoid buying a single purchase ticket as you can use the pass for numerous well sought out activities.

Their gift shop is not too bad, and they have some picture options as well. The view is really what’s amazing and the whole experience is not time-consuming.

The Fit Break Down

I needed to wear something comfy for the flight and I knew I was going to wear a red and white fit (initially to go with the Coca Cola theme for London Eye). Therefore, these were an easy selection and something I wanted to feature on a post for a while now. The Air Jordan 3s are favourite to most, mainly because of their comfort which is why I include it in my rotation a lot.

Stay tuned for a more detailed post on these kicks, but these were sneakers I initially missed out on even though the hype wasn’t necessarily there at first because of the swoosh but the OG sample sketch by Tinker Hatfield that never made it out to production better known as the “Air Jordan 3 – Tinker Hatfield” is definitely one of my favourite sneakers.

Place of Purchase: Jordan 306 Yonge. Here’s an option on StockX.

Price: I can’t remember exactly how much but I think it was around $300.

I bought this shirt maybe 3 years now before there was more OVO stores and when the online store was just starting. I remember you weren’t even allowed to try on the shirt but at the time I ordered one size up which made it more comfortable then and fitting now. It’s a polo shirt that people often like due to the clean branding and the rich red colour.

I also wore this because I know that OVO has a big fan base here in the UK.

Place of Purchase: OVO Store, the original and at the time, only flagship store which was located on 899 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON.

Price: I can’t fully recall but somewhere on the lines of $100 CAD minimum.

Place of Purchase:

Price: FREE! Yes, they were free because they were having a promotion at the time where you can grab a free pair of socks with your order. I vouch for this site as a kind and credible source for all cool things and dope superhero gear.

The last item is a pair of shorts I wore that I got for super cheap. Even though Jay Z & Dame Dash sold Rocawear the brand has now either been sold to or is being distributed through YM Inc (Stitches, Urban Behaviour, Urban Planet, etc.). Therefore it goes with the colour scheme of the outfit but also ties in with the Rap connection as well.

Place of Purchase: Stitches/Urban Planet.

Price: $10 CAD
